Braces and clear aligners gently move teeth to improve crowding, gaps, and bite so cleaning and chewing become easier.

Which option fits you

Fixed braces use brackets and a wire. They suit many bite problems in children, teens, and adults. Clear aligners are a series of removable trays for selected cases where teeth can move with steady daily wear.

Smile Dental Clinic looks at crowding, spacing, and how the jaws meet before suggesting a plan. The right choice depends on the tooth movement needed, not only on how the appliance looks.

How the visit works

Step 1

Bite records

We examine the teeth, take photos or scans, and explain the likely length of treatment.

Step 2

Start moving teeth

Brackets are bonded or the first aligner trays are given, with instructions for wear and care.

Step 3

Review visits

Wires are adjusted or the next aligners are issued so movement stays on track.

Step 4

Hold the result

Retainers keep teeth in their new places after the active phase ends.

What you can expect

Straighter teeth

Aligned teeth are easier to brush and less likely to trap food.

Better bite

Correcting how teeth meet can make chewing more even.

Choices for daily life

Aligners come out for meals. Braces work even when willpower for trays is hard.

For growing and adult smiles

Plans are adjusted for children, teenagers, and adults.

While teeth are moving

Brush after meals, keep aligners in for the hours you are told, and skip hard or sticky snacks that bend wires. Soreness for a day or two after an adjustment is normal.

A broken bracket or a lost aligner should be reported quickly so teeth do not drift. Wear retainers exactly as advised once treatment finishes, or teeth can shift back.
