Dental implants replace missing tooth roots with small posts so crowns or a full set of teeth can stay steady while you eat and speak.

An implant is a titanium post placed in the jaw. After it joins with the bone, a crown, bridge, or full arch of teeth is attached. A single implant replaces one gap. A full-mouth plan replaces many or all teeth when dentures are loose or most teeth are failing.
Planning at Smile Dental Clinic looks at bone, gums, bite, and your health. Not every mouth is ready on the first visit. When bone is low, we explain the extra steps before any post is placed.
Step 1
Photos, models, and X-rays show where implants can sit and how the new teeth should look.
Step 2
Implants are placed under local anaesthesia. A temporary tooth may cover the space while you heal.
Step 3
Bone needs time to hold the implant. We review the site and keep the gums healthy during this phase.
Step 4
Crowns or a full-arch prosthesis are fitted, adjusted, and checked for a stable bite.
Implant teeth do not slip the way a loose denture can.
A fixed set of teeth helps many patients speak with less worry.
The post stimulates bone that would otherwise shrink after tooth loss.
Shape and shade are chosen to suit your face, not a one-size plate.

Brush along the gum line every day and clean between the prosthesis and gums with the brushes or floss we recommend. Implants do not decay, but the gums around them can still become inflamed.
Avoid smoking during healing, attend review visits, and tell us about grinding or a crown that feels loose. Early checks keep a small problem from affecting the implant.
Call between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM to book single & full mouth dental implants, or send a message and we will help you choose a time.
